halloween pumpkinThe girl that’s about to get in my taxi is jumping around, full of energy and obviously happy just to be alive. I might even go so far as to say that she’s “buzzing with excitement.” …but only because she’s dressed like a bee.

Her ladybug friend has on some kind of boy short/thong hybrid that exposes most of her butt and, much like a ladybug, is less frenetic. She makes sure her wings don’t get crunched in the door as she gets in the front seat. The guys with them have no costumes and, from what I can tell, have probably been switching out their full drinks for the girls’ empties all night.

Being a stripper here in Las Vegas always has its perks, for sure. Sure, you make decent money while dancing for parties and what-have-you, but there are the other over-looked perks, too, such as becoming an expert previewer of every high-end hotel suite in Las Vegas! When you think about it, out-call strippers see more hotels than just about anyone else around!

Las Vegas Web Worker Woes

There’s one thing that is the suck about being a web worker in Las Vegas: technological enhancement proximity (or a lack thereof, rather.)

I have a very large project that I have been working on and working towards achieving for some months now and to that end I’ve had some personal remediation that I’ve had to do in la manière du monde with regards to the world wide web technologies such as xhtml, css, and current web standards, php, mysql, content management systems, templating systems, and server side scripting languages.

Sundays Last Forever…

No doubt about it, Summer is quickly approaching. That doesn’t change that fact that it’s been pretty chilly at night for the last week and the highs have been amazing temperatures – like 76, 78, 80 degrees. Absolutely perfect weather. Perfect that is, unless you spend every Sunday partying like a rock star at the Hard Rock pool at Rehab.

It was an itty bit nipply when we arrived at our designated river location and since the Ketel One girls were pouring heavy-handed amounts of Citroen into large cups of lemonade and giving them out for free, Christopher Nolan, Liz, and myself naturally enjoyed the benefits of arriving early. :)
