Michael Jackson Dies
Sad to say, Michael Jackson has died suddenly in Los Angeles. I’ve loved his music since I was a kid, rollerskating to his Off The Wall album. After Thriller, my parents took me to see The Jacksons’ Victory Tour at the Houston Astrodome. For all of the scandals and things that have been said about him, I’ve always respected his music, and I always felt like people shoud just leave him the hell alone… he obviously needs his space.
As far as this affects Las Vegas goes… I guess that’s it for the 50 foot tall Michael Jackson robot that was supposed to roam around the desert shooting frickin’ laser beams out of its eyes to greet the airline passengers overhead as they fly into town. I’d gotten kind of used to that absolutely insane idea and was hoping against hope. Las Vegas is the only town in the world that would actually try to pull off something that crazy…
Anyways, Michael, rest in peace. You will be missed… damn. I was even planning on trying to go to one of your shows in London.

Very, Very sad. Loved his music…not too sure about everything else he had going on. Brilliant musician though..

Yep, he was a good entertainer and he’ll be missed by millions. I’m not sure CNN needed to temporarily become the Michael Jackson channel, but he does deserve respect and his death warrants coverage.
I agree, he was the subject of too many jokes and people should have left him alone. I like to think he had a good life though. He looked good in his last practice video.
