New Year, New Information Architecture
The holidays really have had me missing in action ’round here. I spent three weeks in Texas during Christmas. I was back for one week and then I was gone again for another eight or nine days on my big ski trip. Now I am back and can continue the big project to rebuild this site from the ground up, which we’ve been working on for several months now.
WordPress, the underlying software that the site runs on, has undergone some fundamental changes in the way it handles site architecture, categories, tags, and that sort of thing. They’ve renamed and reorganized the way the software works, so I’ve had to back-peddle a bit and get our categories and tags sorted out. Now that that is done we’re going to begin wrapping up the graphics design work that my friend in Austin has been patiently working on since like October. Soon, very soon! I promise!
Once the new look is finished we can finally begin to start creating a lot of great new content, including our video podcast segment, which we’ve really excited about.
Anyhow, we’re still alive, back in action, and are really stoked for what’s coming in the near future. For now – Happy New Year!

I don’t envy all the work, but the site’s looking great.
