Rehab – It’s not Just For Breakfast Anymore!
Home away from home for me and our crew during the summer months in Las Vegas is Rehab. No, not a drug or alcohol rehabilitation program, but the Sunday afternoon pool party called Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. In the coming months you’ll be hearing lots more about that, but for now I was amused at a new product on the shelves here in Las Vegas – Rehab Recovery Supplement (energy drink)! That’s right, they have their own energy drink now.
At first, I thought someone was ripping off their logo, which features a capital “R” with the pharmacy extension – the trailing part of the character with an “x” crossing it. Upon closer inspection, it’s our guys! They have the website URL right on the can. Nice one, boys! I wonder how wide is the circulation for this thing? I’m also wondering if the rumors of their contract being renewed at the Hard Rock are 100%. I’ll work on finding that one out, but I’m pretty sure that’s the case.
Is it summer in Las Vegas yet?

hey, I work in Las Vegas and have a friend that has become aquainted with a Real Estate Developer named William Tuchscher based in San Diego that is planing to build a Rolling Stone Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. He apparently licensed the Rolling Stone brand to do a chain of hotels and other things last year.
I haven’t read much about it, and have only found some articles about a Mr. Wenner being in Vegas some months ago looking at properties with Mr. Tuchscher……. there have been a few blogs. But mostly its word on the street here. Are you aware of Mr. Tuchscher’s plans? The rumour is that its a major project like $2,Billion, and that it is all about Rock&Roll music with like 10 live music clubs. A friend of mine saw a video and plans for the project but, for some reason everything seems very “hush-hush?”
I do know that Mr. Tuchscher has been in Las Vegas almost constantly to purchase a site for the project. —— Is anyone there following the projects progress? Do you know where I might get more information about the project and more details? I really want to find out about its location, and the plans for retail stores?

This is the first I’ve heard of this.. but I have a friend I can ask that might know about it. Sounds like it’s still in the early planning stages though.. you thinking about opening a boutique or something?
Showgirl on January 23, 2007 :
yea, I guess they have alot of rally cool retail stores lined up from Melrose in LA and Soho in NYC. I have a really cool rock&roll boutique concept.

I just tried one and it just might be the best energy drink I’ve ever tasted.

yeah of all the energy drinks that have come out in the past few years and of all the money the Rehab guys have made… if it goes totally national I could imagine them making orders of magnitude more money off of the Rehab drink than off of Rehab the pool party… it was REALLY good. I should be getting a kickback for all the publicity I do for Rehab for free hehe

I met him also on a cruise this weekend and he told me the same thing. I think he is legit.
